                    Camp Read-Alot
6292009_14822_0.png
strives to reward good readers and to encourage reluctant readers.

Here is what students have to do to be in the club:

1.  Check out and read books from any Newbery Book or Bluebonnet book list since 1922 and take book tests on those books.  (Passing the test is not required, just taking it is.)  Each student will set an individual goal, with the aid of Ms. Lee and their reading teacher.

2.  There are NO DUES.

3.  Students will want to let the librarian know that they are interested in participating.

4.  On the 1st of May, students who have met their personal reading goal, will be rewarded.

5.  The students with the top 7 book point scores as of May 1 will be invited to a field trip to Barnes and Noble (or some other equally fun place).  There, they will help the librarian choose new books for the intermediate school library.  They will then be invited to lunch, paid for by the library.

6.  The 3 students with the highest scores will pick an appropriate book as their gift from the library.
